Our Mission Statement:

                 "The purpose of the Henry County Community Foundation is to serve our community by providing a stable organization that facilitates    programs and growth of charitable organizations, encourages charitable gifts and provides expertise and resources to donors to make permanent endowment that will improve the quality of life for the citizens of Henry County by meeting the changing needs of the communities now and in the future"

Henry County Outdoor Education Fund     Kidz Kingdom Fund provides for annual maintenance

 

   

The Henry County Senior Center has been working hard to provide technology for the benefit of seniors. The Henry County Community Foundation has supported this effort by providing a $400. grant to complete the purchase of a Wi and necessary equipment. Seniors are already enjoying this new form of therapy and activity. Pictured are representatives of the donors, Golden Living Center, Napoleon Boosters and the Henry County Community Foundation.

   

 

The Henry County Humane Society has just begun its campaign to provide matching funds for a grant to reside its building. The Henry County Community Foundation is committed to a $2000. grant to benefit this project. The Humane Society was one of the first organizations to receive grant money from the Henry County Community Foundation in the early 1990’s when the foundation began to make grants to the Henry County community. Investment income earned is used for community grants while the principal balance remains untouched.

Grant applications for non-profit organizations are reviewed quarterly by the Foundation trustees. Application forms are available at the office, 611 North Perry, Napoleon, Ohio or on this website link Grant.
